In my previous article, “The Deaf Hear (Part 1)”, I shared about a woman who received her hearing after years of increasing deafness. This article tells the REAL miracle… A miracle of HER faith.
About two years after seeing the woman receive her hearing I talked to her Pastor and asked about her. He told me the following story…
A few months after her miracle she was examined by a doctor. He informed her he had found a pre-cancerous condition in one of her ears and suggested preemptive surgery. As a follow-up, she spoke to her insurance company and was informed they would pay for the surgery to prevent cancer. However, if she refused surgery and cancer developed, they would not pay for the treatment.
Disturbed, she sought counsel from her Pastor, and then went to prayer… seeking God. After a few days she received a peace on the inside and decided to go through with the surgery.
During the operation the surgeon removed part of her mastoid bone and her ear drum.
Now, anyone knows a person cannot hear without an ear drum.
She can.
